Aspie Quiz Results

This is among the most popular internet quizzes for Asperger’s. Of course it does not serve as a diagnostic tool. But it’s sort of interesting to look at.

Your Aspie score: 165 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 26 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I’m not really sure how to interpret this graph (what is hunting? for example). But someone might know and be able to help.

If you’d like to take the quiz, be sure to visit this site.

  1. Looking at the resulting PDF when I took it, hunting seems to be things like “Do you like watching spinning objects?” (for Aspie) or “Do you have problems filling out forms?” (for NT)

  2. ah. thank you. should have looked at that. may i ask what your scores were?

  3. “Your Aspie score: 91 of 200
    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 114 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits”

I might retake it though. There were some that I feel I didn’t answer properly, and at least one that I thought covered fiddling, until I saw “Do you fiddle with things?”, which for me, from 0-2, is 10. Hm, maybe I could actually try putting in “10″…

I should be able to get PDFs of responses for if someone were to answer exclusively with “0″, “1″, or “2″, which would let us see the effect that each response to each question has.

  4. Lol @ the fiddle comment.
I’ve found that the more times I took the test, the higher Aspie score I get (I’m not sure why this is true). I’m thinking I’ve come to answer more 0s and 2s than 1s, so all my answers are more drastic and have a more profound effect. Some of the questions seemed to had no relation to Aspieness at all (Are you prone to depressions) and some just confused me: (Do you dislike when people stamp their feet? Have you taken initiative to find it was not wanted?Do you drop things when your attention is on other things). Additionally, going through correlations of older questions used, it seemed that there were some questions that were more useful and were removed, and some of these that were difficult were added on late. I’m not sure why that was done either.

  5. Turns out that the quiz uses control questions to determine if someone’s being less than truthful, so there are no results for someone who puts all “0s” or “2s”. I wonder if I can determine what questions the control questions are. Also, the quiz seemed to change when I refreshed it. I wonder if just the order of the questions changed, or if there’s a list of questions and it only shows 150 of them..

  6. I think it’s just a reordering. I’ve taken it a few times, and it always seems to show the same questions but in a different order.
